Have you studied photography?

Your images look absolutely amazing! Are you an educated photographer?
 If so, where did you study? And if not, how did you become so good at photography?

I did study photography for a short period of time at the Danish school of photography in Aarhus, but it was not my thing. At this time there was much drama happening in the industry. There was a kind of battle between analogue and digital photography, and it consumed every aspect of the business. All my lecturers were pro-analogue and the students were pro-digital.

I can see now that it was simply a resistance amongst the lecturers against change, but back then it just resulted in all of us students having a very bad learning environment. Listening to a guy just going on about how much better the old days were will not teach you much, so I ended up quitting it. I only did the introduction because I thought it seemed like a waste of time.
