What license should I get?

Hey,

First of all, really awesome and professional photography and congrats on being listed as a top author.
Being a Web Designer by profession, I am starting out with a new template for my website.

Just wanted to know the following;

Is it necessary to buy your photographs to be used on my templates preview section? It will not be included in the downloadable purchase item. Do I need to buy a regular license or are there some other options available as it is a mutual benefit for us. Watermarked images is fine for me and a mention to your portfolio is obvious in my posts.

Hey Rajeep

In order to use the images found on PeopleImages.com you must purchase either a standard license or one of the extended licenses depending on what you plan on using the images for. Using the images without a license at all would actually be illegal.

If the images are only to be used in the preview and not in the actual template that people can download, then you would only need to purchase the standard license provided that the preview has 499,999 or less impressions. The Standard License is the license that comes with all images purchased on PeopleImages.com unless otherwise specified.

The watermark you see on the images is there to protect the images from being downloaded and used without a license.

We do have a few images in our free section, and these can be used to almost anything as they come with an extended license. You can read more about the different licenses here: http://peopleimages.com/support/licenseAgreement
