I'm looking for a small camera that's inexpensive and easy to use, but still delivers quality images. What do you recommend?

I am going on vacation soon and want to purchase a camera that is small enough to take with me, but will still perform at a level worthy of being accepted in the stock agencies.

I was originally thinking the Canon G12. Do you have any recommendations as to which options might be good, and which ones I should avoid?

The new Fuji X100 at $1200 is about my financial limit.

I would recommend using a Canon PowerShot G12. It's great. The G10 and the G11 are also perfectly fine. They are small, easy to use, practical and very handy. Invest in a big SD card and some extra batteries and you should be fine. :)
