Can I upload images to multiple agencies?

Hello. I admire your photography and success in business. I have a question that could perhaps be answered in agencies' fine print, but if you have a moment, I would appreciate it. As a microstock photographer, can I upload the same image to multiple agencies?

Hi Jared

Yes, you can. This is called microstock non-exclusivity vs. exclusivity. Exclusivity describes the conditions in which only a single agency has your images for sale. Very few agencies are big enough to support exclusive photographers, but if they are, the agency is most likely doing very well. So if you are to upload images to multiple agencies, you would sign up as a non-exclusive contributor. This will most likely affect your royalties.
