Credit Card Security Code?

It seems that a 3-digit security code that starts with a zero is per se not accepted by your system. They exist though...

Hi there,

The security code is normally on the back of your card, the last 3 digits of the printed number to the right of your signature. Please see a sample image on Wikipedia's site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Card_security_code

If however this does not assist you and the problem still persists please let me know so I can look into it further :)

Warm Regards,

Michelle

Ok. I'll see if I can link my paypal to the credit card. Here in Germany it is usually linked to your regular bank account... Let me know once the other problem has been worked out. And thanks for the quick reply :).

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your answer. I know what the security code is and where to find it. Mine, however, starts with a "0" and your system automatically marks it as invalid because of that. Try it for yourself. As soon as you enter a "0" the validation fails. So I think it's a little error in your validation code.

Unfortunately I need that image and don't have a second credit card and to fill up my paypal account would also take two days. I would appreciate a quick solution.

    Best

    Hi Sam,

I understand, I too have had a problem with my credit card once (on another site) and the delayed response in paypal transfers dont help when you are in a rush. What I did discover though is when I do a paypal transaction and I don't have funds in my account, Paypal debits my credit card directly and immediately, meaning the purchase goes through. I don't know if this is a default setting or a setting you can activate in paypal. Perhaps try that for now to help you with your time constraints.

In the meanwhile I am going to direct this to our programmers for further investigation. Hang in there, we are going to try sort this out for you as soon as possible!
