Hi there,

When you purchase any image on our site peopleimages it comes with a standard license which allows you to use the image for 499, 999 impressions. We also offer different licenses for different uses please view our licenses agreement http://peopleimages.com/support/licenseAgreement for more information.

We do offer a selection of free images (http://peopleimages.com/search#types:Free) which will enable you to download images at no cost without the watermark. Also when you purchase an image the watermark will disappear immediately and it will avoid any legalities (law suits) for future.

If anything is unclear please do not hesitate to contact me I will be happy to assist you.

Kind regards,
Lucretia

    Lucretia,
    Thanks for your reply...
If the client wants to use an image, we understand the usage fees.
For now, we want to place an image in a (half-size layout) to present to client. Can we use a low-res watermarked image as a placeholder in the presentation only?

    Hi there,

On the standard license agreement page (http://peopleimages.com/support/licenseAgreement/standard) there is a heading "Grant of license, restrictions, and limitations" it reads:

Permitted Uses of Media subject to the standard license advertising and promotional projects with no more than 499,999 impressions. This includes printed materials, posters, product packaging, presentations, film and video presentations, commercials, catalogues, brochures, promotional greeting cards and promotional postcards (not for resale or license.

So you would need to purchase the image with a standard license in order to use it for your presentation. Should you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can assist you with please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Warm regards,
    Lucretia
