Can I make money from selling my images?

I have a dream to become the face of a brand or to place my photos in magazines or to place my photos on a microstock website. Is it possible that it will give me any financial profit?
What is your opinion? Is it possible to place my photos on your microstock website or in the magazines?

Hi Alex.
It's so great to read about your passion for photography, and I really hate to be one of those people who have to bring it all down.
The income you earn from selling stock images is inconsistent, therefore I am unable to tell whether you will make a profit or not. Usually it will be quite a while before you start earning money from selling stock, and it all really depends on the quality of your images. Always try to keep your production expenses as low as possible in order to gain more profit from your images. It might be a good idea to share the costs with a few other photographers if possible.

As far as uploading your images to PeopleImages.com, this is unfortunately not possible. PeopleImages.com only sells Yuri's images. However, we do have a boot camp that runs every year, and a few lucky photographers get selected to join the Yuri Arcurs team and their images might eventually end up being bought by Yuri and sold on this site.
Whether you want to participate in the boot camp only to get the chance of joining our company or you just want to learn more about how to shoot stock, it is the perfect opportunity to gain some knowledge about the industry and learn valuable skills.

If the boot camp is something you would like to participate in, I will recommend that you keep an eye out for announcements made on http://www.arcurs.com.
