Can you buy images Exclusively?

I am the art director of a German ad agency.
We are about to create a key visual for one of our customers. We found a good picture from you in one of your online portfolios.

My question: to minimize the risk, that another company would use the same picture, we would like to know if it is possible to buy this shot exclusively ... meaning, that it should be taken out from the stocks. In this case, we also want to ask you, to inform us about the costs.

Hi Bernd,

This is indeed possible. If you want to use an image exclusively, you can purchase a time-exclusive license or a 99% buy out license depending on what image it is you want.

Images available for the time-exclusive license are exclusive to PeopleImages.com which means that they have not been distributed to any other agencies. If the image has 0 downloads, you can be certain that no one else will have this image. The time-exclusive license can be purchased for a specific time period, and we will block the image from being sold during this time period.

If the image you want is not exclusive to PeopleImages.com, only the 99% buy out license will be available. Images not exclusive to our site have already been distributed to many other stock agencies world wide, and it's an extensive process to pull back such files. We cannot undo the sales that have already happened, but we guarantee that we will remove as many images as possible from the sites where they are still for sale. So the image in question won't be bought anymore.
